Tres Chic Style Takes a Look at the Oscars......

Well it looks like we'll be treated to "Old Hollywood" glamour after all. With the looming writer’s strike quickly ending just in time for Oscar’s big night. On the 80th Anniversary Tinseltown is buzzing as stylist and designers are getting our favorite actresses and actors ready for the red carpet.

As we look forward to the festivities this Sunday we’ll take a look at some of our favorite and most memorable looks of past Oscar Awards Shows………

Michelle Williams donned a Vera Wang canary yellow ensemble in 2006 for her nomination in "Brokeback Mountain" and won rave reviews for her boldness and ode to "Old Hollywood" glamour.....

Queen Latifah dazzled the Red Carpet in Carmen Marc Valvo for the 78th Annual Oscar's. One of her signature red-carpet designers used a satin/organza to create a regal yet modern look for the Queen.....

Oscar de la Renta outfitted Penelope Cruz in a silk taffeta gown with a voluminous bow and train for the 77th Annual Awards Show. Penelope donned yellow diamond earrings complete with a matching tennis bracelet and ring by Chopard.

While this isn't one of our favorite Jennifer Lopez looks..... We could never forget how J-Lo showed up at the 74th annual academy awards in a silk pink Versace gown, ladylike pearls and ringlets large enough to make Shirley Temple cry....
