The story of Laquan Smith's rise on the fashion scene isn't filled with flashy tales of runways, ridiculous budgets or a Soho loft. The 21 year old fashion phenom lives a modest life in St. Albans, New York while dressing some of the hottest celebrities on the planet. In a word, Laquan is FIERCE!

Laquan has been sewing since the age of 13 and his custom designs have been seen on the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Rhianna, Alicia Keys, Tyra Banks and Cassie to name a few. The first Laquan Smith runway show debuted in Febuary 2010 to a dynamic roster of the fashion elite. During Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011, Lauqan Debuted a "Storybook Path" at the Peninsula Hotel in New York City.
His deigns are pure genius and many consider him as the next fashion magnate of our time.
