Oscars 2011 Update: Color Me Crimson!

Less than 24 hours after the 83rd Annual Academy Awards and editors, bloggers and those who do it all like me are abuzz with chatter about the King's Speech win.. The Social Networks surprise and the ridiculous amounts of red on the carpet...

Did the stylist get the Red Dress event confused with Oscar Night or were the starlets attempting to match the carpet. Any way you slice it, this red debacle presented itself as the trend for the evening.

Jennifer Hudson's new svelte body is an absolute win, the dress and hair... Not so much! An interesting shade  of orange with a sweeping updo just did nothing for me. I'm not a fan of tafetta or mermaid styles, so we'll just  it right along on this one....

Loved....Loved Sandra Bullock's gown for a black tie event, but not my first choice for the Oscars. The Academy Award winner donned Vera Wang with an equally matching pout and sleek chignon. Like many of the celebs on the carpet, Sandra chose a mermaid style but gained far more attention with her Origami bow at the back.
