Day in the Life: Tres Chic Style Heads to Dr. Martens First and Forever Event...

This morning I sashayed my 4 inch Sole Society stilettos downtown to the Morrison hotel and was greeted on the sidewalk by a few chic bloggers. We were up a bit early looking all kinds of fabulous and chatting about the morning's event. Dr. Marten's invited an elite circle of bloggers to their First and Forever Blogger Breakfast Event.

Minutes after nine, we had the opportunity to meet David Suddens, Dr. Martens CEO. His demeanor was jovial and extremely welcoming. After a few brief introductions we headed up to the iconic Morrison Hotel and whisked into a gorgeous space completely filled with the Fall 2011 Dr. Martens Collection.  In a brief interview with Mr. Suddens, he said the campaign was derived from the concept of everyone remembering their first pair of Dr. Martens.

In addition to a fabulous preview, attendees had the opportunity to share "Their First Experiences" in Life.. Love.. or Any pivotal moment in their lives. David started it off with a poignant story about his first job which included selling encyclopedias and circling the globe. Photo Blogging Hosts Scott Schuman and Garance Dore also shared their stories about their careers in photography.

Bloggers shared their whimsical stories of romance, beauty pageants and family.. I shared my First experience as a mom and drew tons of laughter as I shared  my many mishaps during my first trials in "mommyhood" . From my first breast-feeding gone bad episode to my mommy playground etiquette.
Winners will be selected by David and the hosts to win a trip to Coachella in April 2012. Wish me Luck!
