INSPIRATION: “Lena has the most beautiful skin which is the perfect canvas for strong makeup. We wanted to push the boundaries a bit while still matching the dress. Lena is wearing this stunning Prada dress with amazing colors and we wanted to play up an edgy smoky eye to be striking enough to balance the drama of the dress. We kept the color scheme the same as the dress – black outlines with green highlights.”
TIPS/TECHNIQUES: “We blended two shades of the Marc Jacobs Beauty Genius Gel Super-Charged Foundation to achieve the perfect warmth to the skin and dusted her forehead and cheekbones with the Marc Jacobs Beauty Featherweight Perfection Powder to mattify. To create that strong eye, we lined both the upper and bottom lash lines with the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Crayon in Blacquer to the outer ¾ of the eye to create a perfectly smudged ‘V’ shape. And for an unexpected, yet cohesive pop of color, we lined the inner corners of the eye with the same gel pencil in this gorgeous emerald green shade, Intro(vert). For that smoky cool look, smudge out the lines with a matching shadow. To really punctuate the eyes, connect the lashes by dotting a black liquid liner in between the lashes and wiggle the Marc Jacobs Beauty Lash Lifter Volume Mascara from the root up for a really volumized look. We kept the lips neutral with a subtle lipstick that Lena put right in her purse for the red carpet.”

INSPRIATION: “After viewing the beautiful voluminous flowing Theyskens Theory dress that she paired with an edgy bejeweled Lanvin belt, we knew the look had a major punk influence. We wanted to play up that structure with the makeup using soft angelic colors, outlined by a sexy, shiny black. We loved the duality of those influences when shaping up the makeup look for her red carpet debut tonight.”
TIPS/TECHNIQUE: “To create the eye, use the Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Eye Con Plush Shadow No. 7 in The Lolita and No. 3 in The Mod to define and shadow the eye with the bone, bisque, silver and black colors. Gently blending, we created a soft dynamic crease and using the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Crayon in (N)ice, we gently blended the silver in the corner of the eyes to give a soft bright reflection. We used two coats of the Marc Jacobs Lash Lifter Gel Volume Mascara and brushed it out for extreme volume and lined the eyes even further with the Marc Jacobs Beauty Magic Marc’er Precision for added depth and darkness. Vera’s skin is luminous, so after blending in the foundation to her skin, we created a sweetness and softness on the face using the Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Blush in Promiscuous and Reckless on the apples and sweeping up the cheekbone to give color and subtle definition. On her lip, we gently blended Marc Jacobs Beauty Lovemarc Lip Gel in Roleplay to keep the focus on the eyes.”

INSPRIATION: “Sarah was inspired by the glamour featured in the film the Great Gatsby - the bold lips, the glimmering eyes, the old world beauty of a time gone by. To recreate this look we focused on Sarah’s amazing full lips in a rich burgundy tone, with a soft emphasis on her beautiful eyes using natural tones and hues – to create a youthful modern take on the roaring 20s.”
TIPS/TECHNIQUE: “The lips are the focal point of Sarah’s look so to compliment her beautiful emerald green gown, we chose a rich oxblood lip. We layered Sephora Collection Color Lip Last in WANTED RED and ELEGANT IN BROWN to create a deep burgundy shade. Sarah loved this product because it’s long lasting, so she doesn’t need to worry about reapplying on the red carpet. To enhance her almond-shaped eyes, we focused on the soft browns, taupes and plums with upward sweeping strokes and blending for the subtle enhancement of her natural shape. To give her eyes additional definition, we used three coats of the Sephora Collection Outrageous Mascara, and after each application we brushed out the lashes for additional volume. To keep the face clean with a subtle glow, we used the Sephora Collection 10 Hour Wear Foundation applied in gentle strokes using the PRO Visionary Modeling Foundation Brush for a flawless finish. And as a final defining touch, we mixed a shimmer and matte bronzer together to give definition and brightness to her complexion.”
